By accessing or using QuizAce ("Service"), including the website quizace.ai and the QuizAce Chrome extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

QuizAce is an AI-powered study tool that helps students answer quiz questions on supported learning management systems (LMS). The Service is provided via a Chrome browser extension and a web application.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use QuizAce. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account Registration

To use QuizAce, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

  • QuizAce offers paid subscription plans (weekly, monthly, and yearly) that provide access to the Service.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the applicable rate.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account or API key with others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Service
  • Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service beyond normal use
  • Circumvent usage limits or abuse the Service in any way
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable laws or institutional policies

7. Academic Responsibility

QuizAce is designed as a study and learning aid. You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and for complying with your institution's academic integrity policies. QuizAce does not encourage or condone academic dishonesty.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, code, design, and trademarks related to QuizAce are the property of QuizAce and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.

9. API Key

Your API key is unique to your account and must not be shared. You are responsible for any usage associated with your API key. If you believe your key has been compromised, regenerate it immediately from your dashboard.

10. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuizAce and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated answers.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
